Course Goal / Objective

The purpose of this course is to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to understand and navigate the complexities of intercultural communication. By exploring various cultural contexts and communication strategies, students will learn to effectively interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds, enhancing their ability to function as competent communicators in a globalized world. This course aims to foster critical thinking and adaptability, preparing students to address and manage intercultural challenges professionally and ethically.

Course Content

This course examines the principles and practices of effective communication across different cultures, focusing on the role of language in cultural identity, perception, and interaction. It addresses theories of intercultural communication, cultural stereotypes, and the challenges and strategies of overcoming cultural barriers.
