Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this section is getting general knowledge of the magnetism and to classify magnetic materials.

Course Content

Field Production By Solenoids, Magnetic Moments of Electrons, Magnetic Moments of Atoms, Theory of Diamagnetism, Paramagnetism, Ferromagnetism, Antiferromagnetism and Ferrimagnetism, Anisotropy and Magnetostriction in Crystals, Domain Wall Structure, Eddy Currents.
