Course Goal / Objective
To create a culture of music among the students of art faculties,The place and importance of music in human life, understanding the relationship between music and society and culture, explaining the periods of international world music and the developments occurring in these periods, introducing leading composers and works and thus creating a repertoire of music, It is aimed to develop the individual music culture by introducing the interpreters of important composers and creating a melody repertoire by this way, introducing the performers and works of important composers of ethnic music genres in different geographies of the world.

Definition of music, Relationship with human and society, Composers of the periods of international world music, Introducing local and foreign music genres in our country and the works of important representatives of these genres, Introducing ethnic music genres in different geographies and important representatives and works of these genres.
