Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to provide basic knowledge about the properties of raw materials used in the production of ceramic products and ceramic technology and applications.
Course Content
Definition of ceramics. Formation of ceramic raw materials. Functions of cored and non-cored ceramic raw materials. Physical and chemical properties of ceramic raw materials. Shaping methods of ceramic products. Firing of ceramics. Physical, chemical and mechanical properties of ceramic products.
