Course Goal / Objective
1) Advanced Skill Development: Enhance the technical and artistic skills of students in ceramic design. 2) Innovative Design Exploration: To encourage creativity and innovation, promoting the exploration of contemporary and experimental design concepts. 3) Technology Integration: Introduce students to the integration of digital technology in ceramic art creation. 4) Sustainable Practices: Promote awareness and practice of sustainable and eco-friendly methods in ceramic design. 5) Portfolio Development: Guide students in curating a professional portfolio showcasing their skills, creativity, and innovative designs. The course aims to blend traditional ceramic art skills with contemporary design principles, ensuring students are well-equipped to enter the professional world with a robust set of skills and a deep understanding of the dynamic nature of ceramic design.
Course Content
This course, is designed for second-year university students to delve into the advanced study of ceramic art with an emphasis on contemporary design principles and practices. Students will be guided through an exploration of innovative design concepts, the integration of technology in ceramics, and the development of personal artistic style within the context of current trends in ceramic art.
