Course Goal / Objective
Using different raw materials to create different properties of composition recipes on the ternary diagram for industrial or artistic product design. To bake the new recipes created at the appropriate temperature and without deformation.
Course Content
Technological measure of material selection in product design. Raw material concept and other materials that may be alternative raw materials. Traditionial ceramics, applications and usage areas. Tableware, Sanitaryware and Floor/Wall tiles, definitions, properties, body preparation methods, shaping and firing.
