Course Goal / Objective
This course aspires to nurture the development of specialized skills, enabling the creation of unique and refined ceramic decorations. The expectation is for students to not only master the technical aspects but to imbue their works with individuality and innovation. By the end of the course, students should be adept at manifesting designs that reflect a synthesis of learned techniques and personal artistic expression, contributing to their portfolio's diversity and depth.
Course Content
The course intricately explores the art of ceramic decoration, with a pronounced focus on underglaze painting and stamp making techniques. It begins with an in-depth study of various sophisticated underglaze painting techniques, offering students the opportunity to create unique, intricate designs on ceramics. The latter part of the course is devoted to the art and craft of stamp making, intertwining both traditional and contemporary methods to enable students to imprint their distinct mark on their ceramic creations.
