Course Goal / Objective

The aim of the course: The aim of this course is to teach students consultation models is to be used with teachers, parents and principles at primary and middle schools and enable students gain knowledge and skills about consultation models. It is also aimed to highlight consultation models (eg behavioral, solution focused and Adlerian) which are used by school counselors with teachers and parents to help students inidrectly.

Course Content

Definition of consultation, assumptions underlying consultation, the characteristics of consultation, consultation work with teachers, principles and parents, consultation models: behavioral, solution focused and Adlerian consultation; resistance in consultation and dealing with resistance.
