Course Goal / Objective
The purpose of the course is to introduce ideas related to film production and aesthetics which offers an alternative to mainstream Hollywood cinema and to examine films from different regions of the world.
Course Content
The main focus of the course is world cinema in a aesthetic, historical, cultural and ideological perspective. Movements, different approaches to film produciton, ideas related to film aesthetics that emerged after 1960's in different regions of the world will be discussed
