Course Goal / Objective

It is aimed for the student to gain design awareness, to develop awareness of fictional patterns from natural formations to built environment, to use dimensions with basic design elements in space formation, to make modelling with volume-structure perception and to develop patterns.

Course Content

Introduction to basic design, the frame of design process from creation to production; training art eye of design; environmental and architectural components using for design tools, sense experience and perception: mapping for sign of association with using of drawing and modelling elements; contextual and dimensional apprehension from the basic elements as point, line, plane and volumetric form, through the sense of pattern, thinking way for modul units in relation of form and structure; modelling with the consistence of composition by using proportion, ritm, repetition and contrast.
