Course Goal / Objective

It is aimed that the student will be able to apply the rules of drawing scaled technical drawing in plan and section drawings of buildings and spaces, draw detailed building components such as structural system, doors, windows, stairs in accordance with the scales and apply the display techniques of the furnishings used in the space.

Course Content

The concept of scale in technical drawing, techniques for displaying building components at different scales, techniques for displaying furnishings in spaces, drawing 1/50 scale plans and sections of a building, drawing 1/20 scale plans and sections of a building, plan and section drawings in different types of windows, plan and section drawings in different type of doors, plan drawings for different types of stairs, section drawings for single and double arm stairs, stair balancing, plan and section drawings for spiral stairs.
