Course Goal / Objective

It is aimed to gain skills in providing information and evaluating interior design/ organization methods and furniture types within the scope of the historical process of interior and furniture design after the industrial revolution.

Course Content

Changes in space and furniture design under the influence of technological and social developments that have emerged since the industrial revolution; 20th century movements (Arts and Crafts, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, De Stijl, Bauhaus and others) and design approaches are explained together with important design examples and designers.
