Course Goal / Objective

To give information about comfort properties in textile. To inform about the comfort parameters, thermal comfort.

Course Content

Comfort and Features. Comfort and Psychology. Comfort Parameters in Textile Products. Comfort of Cloths. Metabolism Heat, Activity and Heat Transfer Forms. Heat and Moisture Transfer in Textile Products. Physical Mechanisms of Temperature and Humidity. Effect of Heat and Moisture Transfer of Raw Material and Fabric Construction Properties. Garment Selection and Garment Comfort Performance Estimation depending on the Activity.
