Course Goal / Objective

To gain experience for teacher candidates in the special teaching of philosophy group education subjects.

Course Content

Making observations on teaching methods and techniques specific to the field, making individual and group micro teaching practices using special teaching methods and techniques specific to the field, developing field-specific activities and materials, preparing teaching environments, managing the classroom, measuring and evaluating and reflecting

Order Course Learning Outcomes
LO01 Philosophy group has sufficient infrastructure related to the branches of educational sciences, and follows the legislation (laws, regulations, circulars etc.), basic values and principles, acts in accordance with them, knows their rights in job security and social security issues.
LO02 Uses the theoretical and applied knowledge in the fields of philosophy group and educational sciences to produce solutions to educational problems.
LO03 Identifies and defines educational problems, designs relevant solutions, selects and applies analytical methods and modeling techniques suitable for this purpose.
LO04 Explains the theories, models, principles and generalizations related to philosophy, psychology, sociology and logic, and explains the basic principles, events, phenomena and processes of these fields in the light of these generalizations.
LO05 Knows the individual, environmental and social factors that affect interpersonal relationships. Using the knowledge acquired, he / she gains the ability to listen effectively, to receive and give constructive feedback, to solve creative problems, and to use these skills in the professional field.
LO06 Has competence in questioning, evaluating, making decisions, analyzing and synthesizing, making connections between events, comparing, analyzing, looking at problems from different perspectives, seeing alternatives, flexible and versatile thinking, logical thinking and historical, cultural, social, etc. realizes the effects of problems in the field of philosophy.
LO07 Organizes activities for field teaching and develops appropriate teaching materials. Selects and uses educational technologies required for educational activities.
LO08 It examines and evaluates concepts, ideas, and educational technology with scientific methods, diagnoses, analyzes and discusses problems and issues, and develops suggestions based on scientific findings and evidence.
LO09 Knows the basic concepts of development; Knows the physical, mental and psycho-social characteristics of childhood, adolescence and adulthood. In addition, he / she knows the elements and characteristics needed to measure the psychological characteristics of the individual.
LO10 It conducts resource research to access information, uses databases and other information sources, evaluates the accuracy and currency of the information obtained from different sources. Knows the ways to reach information such as archives, libraries, internet, museums and research centers and uses them effectively.
LO11 Has the skills of learning to learn, self-regulation, lifelong learning, critical thinking, creative thinking, logical thinking.
LO12 Follows professional and ethical rules and takes part in collaborative practices. It also protects democratic, social, scientific, cultural and moral values and acts in accordance with these values.
