Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to ensure that students understand the basic concepts of class, status, status and power, the social distribution of income and wealth, the social chance in stratification, and the general theories related to stratification, based on the available data on the measurability and interpretability of social layers and social inequalities today.

Course Content

Examining the powerand its effect, the social distribution of income and wealth, the status, education and specialization in the formation of social fortune in stratification, and general theoriesabout stratification, as well as the current theories of social stratification and social inequalities; class, statusand powerare examined in detail.
