Course Goal / Objective

Understanding the basic planning principles of ponds and small dams in relation to the precipitation flow and the approaches in the design phase.

Course Content

Precipitation, flow and water yield analysis, storage volume, peak flows, wave heights, body types, foundation design, wave volume calculations, weir hydraulics and sizing.
