Course Goal / Objective
Brief introduction about a volcano, teach about volcanic types and eruption types, teach about lava flows in continental and oceanic settings, teach about volcanic hazards and benefits.
Course Content
Introduction and General Definitions, Features of Magma, Definition of a volcano and their types, Eruption Types, Lava Flows, Pyroclastic Fall Deposits, Volcanoclastic Processes, Epiclastic Deposits, Volcanic Centers in Turkey
