Course Goal / Objective

Geochronologic methods related to isotope geochemistry and their interpretations

Course Content

Introduction, basics of the radiometric age determinations, high- and low-temperature thermochronology methods. Basics of U-Pb, Sm-Nd, Rb-Sr, Re-Os, Ar-Ar, K-Ar, Fizyon İzi, U-Yh/He methods and case studies.
