Course Goal / Objective
The main aim of the course is to convey that journalism does not only consist of mainstream media organs and to have information about the place of local journalism in the face of national and international media. Emphasizing the importance of local journalism is also one of the main objectives of the course.
Course Content
The course covers all phases of the local press from its development to the technological stage we have reached today. In this context, the connection between local and national and international journalism, the importance of local, its possibilities and limitations are within the scope of the course.
