Course Goal / Objective
The general aim of this course is to look at digitalized human relations and the ways in which these relations are reflected in networks from different sources and perspectives, and to provide students with the ability to make critical evaluations within the framework of social media and communication discipline.
Course Content
This course covers the examination of approaches to platform capitalism, global communication inequality, ideology, digital labor, social media and surveillance, and the analysis of scholarly research on these topics.
