Course Goal / Objective

To understand the importance and content of astronomy, to be able to comprehend the properties of celestial bodies as a result of measuring the light coming from different regions of the electromagnetic spectrum. learn the concept of dimension in the universe, To get a general knowledge about the structure of the celestial bodies in the solar system and possible formation models, Examining the measurable properties and evolution of stars. Examining Milky Way and other galaxies in detail.

Learning the Night Sky, Light and Telescopes, Solar System, Earth and Moon, Planets and their moons, Small bodies in the Solar System (Asteroids), comets, meteors , The Formation of Stars and Planets, The Sun, measurmenents of stellar properties, stellar evolution, Milky Way Galaxy,
