Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to understand the properties of X-ray emitting sources, X-ray generating astrophysical mechanisms, X-ray detectors, X-ray analysis methods, Galactic and galactic X-ray sources.

Course Content

Properties of X-rays, Astrophysical mechanisms for generating X-rays, X-ray dedectors, X-ray data analysis methods, Solar System X-rays, X-ray absorption and scattering in the interstellar medium,X-rays from single stars,X-rays from Supernovae,X-ray binaries,X-ray sources in Milky Way,Extragalactic X-ray Astronomy
