Course Goal / Objective

Learn the general electrical or non-electrical medical devices and laboratory equipments used in medical purposes.

Course Content

Examining the issue of recognizing the risks that biomedical engineers may encounter with medical devices and taking the necessary precautions. Basic risk management. Advanced issues related to health risks in work environments. Selected topics related to electric currents, magnetic fields, gas, liquid and solid chemicals, drugs in hospital environments. Selected topics in health and risk management.
