Course Goal / Objective
Reinforcing the education by giving the basic concepts of physical and chemical processes taken in undergraduate education and supporting it with laboratory applications, engineering evaluation of physical and chemical processes in order to form the basis of environmental modeling and treatment applications, engineering applications and solutions by revealing the design and operating parameters of each physical and chemical process. is to obtain information about.
Course Content
Examining the physical and chemical processes commonly used in environmental engineering systems and analyzing basic concepts, obtaining information about general chemistry, environmental chemistry and basic processes and their applications, examining, observing and evaluating processes on-site through laboratory applications and technical visits, ventilation, gas transfer. Defining basic operations and processes such as mixing, coagulation-flocculation, precipitation, filtration, flotation, adsorption-ion exchange, chemical oxidation and disinfection, explaining application examples and supporting the process with laboratory applications, regarding design and operating parameters related to physical and chemical processes.
