Course Goal / Objective
To gain perspective on the relationship of the most important goals of today's medicine with the genome structure such as individual drug, rational drug and drug side effects.
Course Content
Types of mutations, Differences between polymorphism and mutation, The importance of short sequence repeats (SSR) and single nucleotide differences (SNPs) in the genome structure, Gene concept. Genomic and functional genomics, Genotypes and different drug effects, Rational drug use, Pharmacovigilance, Molecular approaches in drug design
