Course Goal / Objective
It aims to provide information about important developments in the history of microbiology, the discoveries of microorganisms, and the scientists who discovered them.
Course Content
History and development of microbiology, classification and naming of microorganisms, bacteria, fungi (mould, yeast, algae, protozoa, viruses, nutrition and development of microorganisms, metabolism of microorganisms, staining and staining methods of bacteria, isolation and identification of microorganisms).
