Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to improve the student's communication and persuasion skills, and to increase her professional success by giving the student good and effective speaking skills.

Course Content

The content of this course; beautiful, accurate and effective speaking methods and practices; starting from the main headings of rhetoric, phonetics, semantics; voice, respiration, word, expression, text reading, gesture, mimic, individual and mass communication, speaking effectively in front of the community, making presentations.

LO03 Acquires effective practice techniques for the elimination of speech and expression defects.
LO04 Learns the general speaking rules of Standard Turkish, the "phonetic addresses" of the sounds that make up our language, and correct articulation techniques.
LO05 Understands that effective listening is the basic tool of communication as well as effective speaking.
LO06 By working on exercises and assignments, they develop the skills to evaluate a text, to have long conversations about a topic and to speak in public.
LO07 Masters effective speech elements.
LO08 Practices correct breathing techniques.
