Course Goal / Objective
Teaching the basic principles of mechanics and reinforcing them through experiments.
Course Content
Physics and measurement, vectors, motion in one dimension, plane motion, particle dynamics, work and energy, conservation of energy, linear momentum and collision, rotational kinematics, rotation of a rigid body about a fixed axis. In addition, theoretical subjects are reinforced with the following experiments conducted throughout the semester, and the student prepares a report for each experiment and submits it on time: Addition of forces, uniform linear motion, motion with constant acceleration, projectile motion, calculation of the acceleration of gravity in different ways, elastic and inelastic collisions, end-of-term demonstration experiments.
