Course Goal / Objective

The application of Remote Sensing and GIS which play an importanat role in todays agriculture will be explained. The basic information on remote sensing GIS technologies and different methodologies are presented. The results of applications will be interpreted and thier efficient use are discussed.

Course Content

History of Geographical Information Systems. What are the usage areas. What are the programs used in Geographical Information Systems.
