Course Goal / Objective
The career planning of each individual is different according to their personal characteristics, interests, talents and values. In this course, students will be introduced to identify themselves about their career goals, determine their abilities, values, and strengths and developable aspects. Brainstorming opportunities will be created with experts in the business world. With these awareness gained at the end of the semester, it is aimed to make short and long term career planning for each student.
Course Content
In the following weeks of the course, we will discuss the 21st century skills that students need to have in order to be successful in the business world. In this context; We will apply various coaching techniques to develop competencies such as communication skills, creativity, teamwork, self-management, emotional intelligence, self-sufficiency, leadership, motivation and continuous development. In the last part of the term, students will be informed about resume (CV) preparation methods and effective interview techniques, and practical competence will be gained for job application processes. In addition, throughout the term, we will provide students with the opportunity to bring together professionals from different sectors (private sector, public institutions, entrepreneurship ecosystem, etc.) and provide students with an interactive learning environment where they can connect with the real world.
