Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to teach the basic concepts of the LaTeX system, which is widely used in preparing scientific publications today, and how to prepare presentations using these concepts.

Course Content

This course covers the history and usage areas of LaTeX, its installation, basic concepts, document classes and packages, the main structures of a LaTeX document, writing mathematical expressions and equations and numbering, displaying structures such as definitions and theorems, in-text citations, creating tables, adding images and graphics, creating sources, page layout and preparing presentations with the Beamer document class.
