Course Goal / Objective
The goal of this course is to introduce students to the key elements of winter and adventure sports tourism, focusing on destination management, marketing strategies, and sustainability. It will also cover the cultural, economic, and environmental impacts of these sports.
Course Content
Definition of winter sports and adventure sports tourism Popular winter sports: Skiing, ice skating, mountaineering, etc. Adventure sports: Mountaineering, trekking, camping, wildlife observation Destination management in winter and adventure sports tourism Marketing strategies in winter and adventure sports tourism Sustainable winter and adventure tourism Economic, environmental, and cultural impacts of winter and adventure sports
