Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to enable students to acquire basic graphic design skills and to reinforce these skills through studies on abstraction, image production, and reinterpretation.
Course Content
In this course, studies will be carried out on abstraction with stylisation an pictograms, one of the fundamentals of image production in graphic design, and subsequently a corporate identity revision will be undertaken using the basic skills acquired. Examples of abstraction and pictograms will be examined to provide information on these two forms of production, and, in the context of corporate identity — the topic of the following project — theoretical and practical examples will be presented on the definition and significance of logos and emblems.
