Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to provide students with a perspective on the importance of physical activity on quality of life, ways to gain healthy living habits and ways to evaluate and improve individual physical fitness level.

Course Content

This course covers the effects of physical activity on health, types of exercise, physical fitness components, active lifestyle development strategies and the negative effects of sedentary lifestyle on health. In addition, complementary topics such as nutrition, sleep and stress management that support healthy living are also addressed.

Course Precondition

There is no prerequisite for the course.
