Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to provide scientific and technical knowledge on the principles of DNA and RNA isolation, commonly used methods, quality control processes, and safe long-term storage of isolated products.

Course Content

The course covers the biochemical characteristics of nucleic acids, cell-type specific isolation techniques, manual and kit-based methods, sources of contamination, quality control techniques, and short- and long-term storage conditions of the isolated products.
