Course Goal / Objective

By the end of this course, prospective teachers are expected to acquire the skills, abilities, and attitudes related to applying effective teaching skills, managing behavior in the classroom, and managing instruction.

Course Content

This course will cover the definition and importance of microteaching, the stages of the microteaching cycle, teaching skills that can be developed through microteaching, the limitations of microteaching, identifying and planning teaching activities appropriate to the subject and purpose, implementing sample lesson plans and revising/implementing teaching plans based on feedback received from lesson presentations and reviewed video recordings, and information on evaluation and evaluation criteria in microteaching.

Course Precondition

First-year undergraduate students cannot register for this course.
