Course Goal / Objective

Learning about waste management in poultry production

Course Content

Classification of waste according to production flow in poultry production; general characteristics of poultry manure; environmental problems observed in poultry houses due to poultry manure; effects on animal health and welfare; environmental problems caused by poultry manure; methods of manure utilization; utilization of manure in bioenergy production; utilization of hatchery and slaughterhouse waste and dead animals
