Course Goal / Objective
To inform students about stress in poultry and the relationship between stress and productivity
Course Content
The concept of stress in poultry and responses to stress; stress symptoms and detection methods; environment and stress; effects of stress on productivity; effects of stress on health and well-being; climate change and heat stress; stress in broiler and laying hens; various practices causing stress in poultry; stress and its impact on farm economics; measures that can be taken against stress
