Course Goal / Objective
To provide an understanding of the basic characteristics of global climate change; to introduce its effects on plant production; and to develop the ability to evaluate the problems arising from changing climate conditions and their impacts on production.
Course Content
Definition, causes and consequences of global climate change; its effects on plant production in the world and the Mediterranean region; problems arising in crop production due to changing climate conditions and adaptation strategies.
