Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to integrate behavioral economics theories with econometric modeling, enable quantitative analysis of individual decision-making processes, establish econometric models from survey and experimental data, and develop skills for producing academic-level research and publications.

Course Content

This course will cover the fundamentals of behavioral economics, decision-making theories and cognitive biases, scale development and survey design, experimental and observational data analysis, discrete choice models, structural equation modeling (SEM), and behavioral policy analysis (nudge theory).

Course Precondition

Basic knowledge of econometrics and statistics.
