Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to examine the visual and symbolic expressions of prehistoric societies through archaeological evidence and to evaluate artistic traditions across different periods and regions.

Course Content

The course covers the emergence of prehistoric art, cave and rock art, portable art, figurines, artistic traditions in different regions, and approaches to dating and interpretation.
