Course Goal / Objective
Explore the boundaries of wearable art and integrate environmental sustainability with artistic expression. Introduce students to traditional and innovative materials, enhancing their skills in creating ethical and environmentally friendly artworks. Gain in-depth knowledge in material information, design processes, and application techniques. Develop the ability to critique art and express their own artistic visions through wearable projects. By combining art and sustainability, empower students to become aware of their social and environmental responsibilities and enable them to produce innovative solutions in this area.
Course Content
To develop an understanding of the role of textile materials in contemporary art. To enable the analysis of the relationship between form, composition, and material. To enhance students’ conceptual thinking skills. To establish a research-based artistic production process.
