Course Goal / Objective
Introduction to and definitions of outdoor sports, the concept and characteristics of natural life, hiking, location and direction identification in nature, activity planning and organization knowledge, adaptation to life in the natural environment, safe movement knowledge and skills. Application of this knowledge and skills in orienteering, an outdoor sport.
Course Content
The aim of this course is to enable students to gain general knowledge about the sport of orienteering and to learn about its practical applications
