Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to provide a theoretical understanding of the physiology and diseases of the urogenital system, the medications used in their treatment, and the experimental models of related diseases.

Course Content

covers the physiology and anatomy of the urogenital system, the pathophysiology of diseases, medications used in treatment, their mechanisms of action, and experimental models of related diseases. Presentations will be supported by studies in experimental pharmacology examining the mechanisms of contraction and relaxation in the tissues of the corpus cavernosum, bladder, prostate, and uterus.

Course Precondition

None.
