Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to enable students to grasp the theoretical foundations of drama and use the drama method as an effective tool for learning and teaching in art education and Turkish language education; to develop their skills in creative thinking, expression, communication, and critical thinking; and to help them integrate various art disciplines through drama using a holistic approach.
Course Content
This course focuses on the theoretical foundations and scope of drama, as well as its use as a teaching method in arts education and Turkish language education. The course examines how drama can be used to structure learning processes, with a focus on the development of students’ creativity, expression, language skills, and critical thinking. The course examines the relationship between drama and various art disciplines such as literature, visual arts, and music; practical exercises demonstrate how these fields can be integrated through a holistic approach.
