General Information
Mathematics doctorate program is a 240 ECTS program and the normal completion period is 4 academic years consisting of 8 semesters. The 60 ECTS part of the student's education workload is the course load (at least 7 courses with at least 21 local credits and a seminar course) and the remaining 180 ECTS is the doctoral thesis.

The mission of the doctoral program of the Department of Mathematics is to continuously renew the graduate education program in accordance with the needs of the age, and to educate students as individuals who specialize in a special subject of mathematics at the graduate level, can follow the latest scientific developments in their field, and have the ability to learn and apply.

Goals
Equipped with a strong mathematical background at the doctoral level, able to conduct scientific research at international level, adopting mathematical thinking and gaining respectable places in our country's scientific life, society and business life, adhered to ethical rules, mathematically self-confident, inquiring, open to innovations, aims to raise responsible individuals with a sense of duty.
Objectives
To raise contemporary graduates who have knowledge of mathematics at the doctoral level, can think independently, comprehend the given problem, produce different and original solutions to the problems they encounter, conduct research, and think comprehensively and abstractly.
Specific Admission Requirements
Students can apply to this program with ALES, Bachelor's degree, Master's diploma and a valid foreign language proficiency certificate within the framework of "C.U. Graduate Education and Training Regulations" and can continue their education in graduate programs in their own field or related fields as a result of the evaluation of the interview results together.

Students who successfully complete this program are awarded a PhD in Mathematics.
