General Information
Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology Master's Program was established in 2023 within the Institute of Medical Sciences and started its education and training in February 2024 with 2 (two) graduate students. There are 2 (two) professors and 1 (one) assistant professor in the Department. Pharmacology and toxicology is one of the important disciplines in veterinary medicine education. It deals with the drugs used in this field, the toxic substances that animals are exposed to, and the possible effects of these drugs and substances on humans through food-producing animals. The faculty members and graduate students in the Department are conducting scientific research and producing qualified publications in the fields of pharmacology and toxicology, including molecular pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, analytical toxicology, environmental toxicology, efficacy and safety studies of drug candidates, nano-drugs and nano-drug delivery systems.
